A while ago, 2017 to be exact, I started working on a plan to visit every Merseyrail Terminus in one day, passing through every station at least once. Originally I planned to start and finish at Southport, while on holiday, but plans changed and I was going to try again in April 2020. Then Covid hit.

Now in 2021 I’m going to try to go for it. Starting at Chester and finishing at Hunts Cross. The map below shows the lines. I’m going only for the Wirral and Northern Lines (Blue and Green on the map), the ones operated be the 507/508 Class DMUs.

When I do this, I’ll Tweet every stop on Twitter, and try to photograph every Terminus (time permitting). It should take about ten and a half hours, and cost £5.50 (excluding the cost to get there in the first place).
